Sig Sauer 2022 40S&W 12+1 Nitron Finish Night Sights [E2022R40BSS]

Another terrific experience with Bud's. My SigPro2022 arrived within two days of ordering it, exactly as described. This is the 40sw model. I also have the 9mm version and there are some interesting differences between the two guns. Both have the triple serial numbers, but only the 40 has the German proof marks on the slide and barrel. Both have black plastic cases that say Nitron fiinish, but the 9 has a slightly lighter and much smoother finish on the slide. The 40's is much blacker and shinier, but you can also see slight tool marks. The 40 also has much smaller (too small, in my opinion) night sights than the 9, no lanyard loop (even though the grips are the same size), a hollowed-out area on the rear of the trigger, and 12-round magazines instead of 15 for the 9mm. My main gripe is that takedown with both guns is VERY difficult at first, but eventually loosens up. And yes, they are extremely accurate. All in all, one of the best "bangs for the buck" you will ever find.
