My first 1911 and I made a wise choice. The gun is absolutely beautiful to look at. The fit and the finish are great and it shoots like a dream. I've put over 300 rounds through it so far with zero malfunctions of any kind using Remington UMC ball ammo. One of the many factors that led me to the Sig is the fact that all their 1911's are stainless slides and frames. I'm a big fan of stainless. All in all, this is a very well made pistol and I would not hesitate to purchase another. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, Bud's was great as usual. Happy shooting!!!
