This is a well balanced 22 pistol. It’s a pleasure to shoot and is very accurate. I have no regrets.

The Taurus Tracker 22 mag is a very nice shooter. Went to the range yesterday and shot a box of CCI 40 through it, and is a lot of fun.

Just bought a Taurus 992 from Bud's. They are the best! Easy to do business. Great prices and delivery. Not the first purchase from Bud's nor will it be my last.

Recently received this Taurus 992 with a 6.5 inch barrel in SS from Buds. First, great service from Buds. Shipped quickly and was what I ordered. As to the firearm- on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being it should be a paperweight to 10 being on the level of a Colt Python, I rate this at about 7. The fit is an 8 due to the barrel having burrs next to the cylinder. They should take a page from Ruger (like the single 9) and slightly chamfer the end so it does not cut the fingers when cleaning around the barrel. The finish is a 6 as the SS is a bit rough, like 150 grit sandpaper. I fear this will enhance moisture collection and allow rust (yes SS will rust, but just not as fast) to get a foot hold. The action is a 9 for single and a 5 for double. However, the versatility of having 2 cylinders, a .22 LR and a .22 WMR is a 10 . The cylinders are well made and fit exquisitely well. The changeout is simple and a marvel of engineering in that it is simplistic, fast, and locks up positively with ease, a rating of 10. Another nice feature is the adjustable rear sight and the overall accuracy, especially in the .22WMR cartridge - a borderline 9-10. Overall, yes I would purchase this revolver. It makes for a good home defense weapon as low to no muzzle flip with quick return to target. I use it around the farm as I have problems with foxes and coyotes.

This is my second Taurus Tracker and it is a great target and plinking pistol. I sold my first one and regretted that decision so I replaced it. I have equipped it with a scope and frequently use it for target practice. It comes with both 22 long rifle and 22 magnum cylinders and changing the cylinders is a simp!e process. Having the ability to remove the cylinders makes the pistol easy to clean. The pistol is well-made and the sights that come on it are adjustable. And I was once again pleased with my purchase experience with Buds.

I really appreciate this revolver. It is one of the smoothest operating revolvers that I own and its is a great platform for shooting 22 LR or 22 mag. The solid frame and lock up are impressive. The accuracy of the gun is without a doubt its best feature.

I had previously ordered two guns from Bud's a number of years ago but not through their website. I got the guns then as I did now quickly exactly what I wanted very responsive was kept apprised via email of the progress of my shipment and now that I've been thrown off of gunbroker.com I'm hoping to buy more from buds in the future

I was looking for a .22 Revolver, with a 6 in. barrel, for target shooting and this fit the bill. The added bonus was the extra .22 Magnum cylinder. I took it to the range and shot a few hundred rounds of .22 LR,and about 100 .22 Shorts. it performed magnificently. I always used top of the line Pistols and Revolvers for Competition Shooting. In my opinion, this Revolver shoots better than my S&W 6 in. barrel K Masterpiece .22 because of the longer barrel and the weight. The sights are great, they are adjustable, and interchangeable, the Revolver stays on target and was flawless. The single action is great, the double action, because of the weight, is easy and smooth. Also, you can shoot .22 shorts or CB caps, which are less expensive. And is has a 9 round capacity. No wonder the tracker earned the Revolver of the year Award when it was introduced. The grip is made of rubber, and is very easy on the hand, and non slip. I wish that Taurus would offer some nice wood grips for this model, maybe in the future. Overall, I'm very happy with this Revolver and would recommend it to my friends. I am surprised that no one else added any comments or reviews.
