German Sport Gun 1911ADOP 1911 ADOP 22LR 5" 10+1 Black Grips [1911ADOP]
$364.00

Just got this gun in today. Weight, look and feel are great but this gun is going to get worn down fast. If it comes in contact with any metal that black finish comes right off. Stripped and cleaned it once and there is already paint scraped off the slide from the slide release, by the trigger and by the mag insert (And I wasn't being reckless).
When I received it there was already paint worn off of the mag (looks to be from the extremely annoying mag disconnect). The grip safety seems too shallow so you really need to have your palm seated correctly to disengage. Also, it is most likely a defect of mine but I cannot get the thumb safety engaged either- I have heard ATI has a really solid customer service department so I will be calling them today.
All in all, for a $330 dollar gun, it is ok- from all the reviews I expected more but I am not unhappy I bought it, will be a fun range shooter. Oh, one more thing, came with a REALLY funky smell I haven't been able to get rid of, even after cleaning and leaving under a fan for 24+ hours.
