I think this is a great gun. It's not quite as heavy as some of the others. Also, it's not just a GI. It has extras like the 8 round mag, much better grip safety and a skeletonized hammer. Even with the regular GI sites, right out of the box I was hitting everything I was aiming at from about 60feet. The only drawback I see with this unit is that the barrel doesn't have a ramp in... Other than that, it's fine. It hasn't jammed.... It's shoots just like my para did and carry's better. (only because it's smaller mind you) Anyway, would I recommend this gun to others. For $387.. Hell yeah. For $550? Well, for that you can get a good used para or colt... Maybe even a springfield and such.. So, not for anything over $450... So, you got it made in the shade here. Buds Guns is just fantastic. I wish I would've found them a long time ago. I'd be broke, but still. Thanks Gurney, for the great customer service and just genuine kindness. "Y'all'z" have a customer for life here in Texas....
