I bought one of these about 6 months ago and now have enough range time with it to speak to its quality. The 9mm setup works great, 500+ rounds with zero issues feeding federal 115 gr and winchester white box. The single action has a tiny bit of grit but overall it is light and very acceptable. The double action leaves something to be desired...It is smooth but very heavy. I have had a similar expericence to another reviewer, the .22lr is barely functional.
To be fair, I have only ran CCI minimags but have had only 1 magazine run 100% out of 200 rounds of 22 through the gun. The 22 slide also had a large mark cut into the bluing (which I didn't see until after I signed for the gun which is when I realized I need to inspect them better) I average at least one FTF when running as a 22, without the extractor seating properly so then when you rack that slide you get a double feed. I am still working through a few different oils or grease trying to figure out whats up but sooner or later its going back to EAA.
Overall, I really like the gun. In fact, I have added the 45 acp slide in wonder finish and have added EAA's wood grips (not cheap but nice quality). 5 mags in each centerfire cartridge and it makes a very nice multifunctional firearm. I hope at some point EAA offers the long slide 10mm (from the hunter version) so I can add one of those to my setup as well. IF the .22 slide worked I'd give the product a 5 star rating.
