Ordered this gun on Saturday night and got here Tuesday morning I picked it up Friday the process was very simple to do, much simpler than driving out of the way to some gun show and then also paying tax and when buying guns that alone can add 100 bucks to the price. I paid 729 and it was worth it, the gun racks very smooth and the fit and finish are nice and the grips are nice although I might replace them because I have small hands. The trigger pull and break is very crisp like everyone has said, however the trigger itself does have some slop or wiggle to it, like other people have said, but it is really not that bad I mean the trigger is not going to fall out and it works rather well, but this is a 1911 and if you dont like it just change it out, there are countless things that can be done to modify or upgrade a 1911. If I had to get nitpicky about this gun the only other thing I would comment on is that some of the corners on the gun are a bit sharp, such as the front sight or down around the mag well or when the slide locks back the bottom end corners are kinda sharp, but these are small things that can be fixed with a couple of passes with a small file without damaging the gun or the finish, so really its not a big deal for me. The gun was and is worth this price all day long, considering the cost of many other 1911's I dont see why this gun couldnt sell for 900 easy and it might before its over, so if your considering a first 1911 or just another one I would definitely consider this one. This was my first 1911 and just a side note, it was more time consuming to take down for cleaning, atleast when compared to my glock or Beretta 92, but not too bad like I said this was my first one and im just not used to it. You've probably read somewhere about someone getting one damaged or dirty from the factory, but just because one person has a bad experience and posts it on the internet does not mean everyone will. This is a great gun from a great gun manufacturer and I am looking forward to other pistols they bring to the market.
