The ISSC M22 is simply a pleasure to shoot! Yes, CCI Mini Mag 40gr. RN are what it loves to eat. Didn't reliably feed/fire/extract the Win Super X "Super Speed" (1300 fps) RN, but now I know. Haven't even tried bulk pack yet and probably won't. Overall, a very accurate pistol with a very good trigger, good balance, easy to take down, etc. One caveat: I had to super glue the front sight upon arrival. What's up with that, ISSC? Why tarnish your reputation over sub-standard sights?
I'd buy this gun again and recommend it to others. It isn't my Ruger 22/45, but is awesome for those of you who love Glocks and want something similar to practice with. It really helps fight the flinch that so many people develop with larger caliber handguns, especially if you alternate them while practicing.
Clean WELL before shooting the first time, as this seems to thwart a lot of common problems with new guns. Wish it would eat other ammo brands, but w/CCI at about 6 cents a round I can't complain. Inexpensive fun!
