Buds was great as usual, my pistol was delivered quickly, no issues. When I returned home with my SR1911 was field stripping for the first time prior to taking to the range and the grip safety is not working. The hammer will fall and fire without gripping the safety. Called Ruger customer service and the tech was very professional, sent me an overnight shipping label (paid for by Ruger) and they will have within 24hrs. The tech said I should receive within 7-10 business days. I guess not a big deal since I have been trying to obtain one of these for about a year....The thing that sold me on this gun was the 100% American made with American workers and 100% American parts. I traded in a perfectly fine CZ-97B for this gun. I ever had one issue with it, solid as a tank. I am sure Ruger will make this right but this is embarrassing in my view. Cannot give it anything more than 1 star, new gun out of the box should not have to go back to manufacturer
