This is my first 1911 and I am very happy with this Pistol. I did a lot of research and shoot a few different 1911s. I know I wanted an American made 1911 and didn't want to spend over $800. I don't think the Ruger 1911 can be beat for the price, Looks, Quality and being American made. I'm very happy with this purchase. I'm so glad i didn't settle for a cheaper one that was $100 less. I shot 100 rounds today and it was a blast.
