I would like to break this review into three parts. 1) Dealing with Buds 2) Fit and finish of the Ruger 1911 and 3) firing and feeding of the Ruger 1911

1) Buds Gun Shop
This was my first purchase through Bud's. I must say it was very pleasant. A wonderful variety of arms and very decent prices. The communication was superb and the item shipped quickly and was in pristine condition when I picked it up from my local FFL. I cannot say enough good things about Bud's and I recommend them to anyone.

2) The fit and finish of the Ruger SR1911 was outstanding. This is my first 1911 and it is beautiful. Very much a value buy at less than $700. I love everything about this gun. The finish, the fit, the slide action, magazine insertion, safety operation, everything is perfect. Additionally, the 1911 comes with a soft carrying case, barrel bushing tool, 2 magazines (1-7 rounder and 1-8 rounder). They even through in a 4"x4" sticker. Nice touch. This is my first Ruger product and it won't be my last. Very happy.

3) I just picked up the gun today and have yet to fire it. Based solely on feel, I don't think I am going to be disappointed. I plan to use both magazines and fire various brands of FMJ and hollowpoint. I will just assume for this review that it is going to be awesome and will only come back and edit this review if I have issues. If I haven't edited this entry, then assume I haven't had any issues.
