Recently acquired for myself a new Ruger 1911 #6711 Lt Wt Commander - I wanted to pick up a couple of 8 round extended mags. I found the exact same product here on Buds website as listed on Rugers. I went for Buds as there was a savings and it is the same product. Fits great - works great.

These magazines are great! After purchasing a ruger SR1911, I was quick to gather a few more magazines. Purchased some other cheaper magazines that ended up not working in my pistol. After this experience I determined that I better stick with factory mags. These feed great and are smooth going in and coming out of the gun. The only thing I might say anything bad about is that the 8th round is a bit difficult to load. It’s not unreasonable to load but a bit hard. This may change with more use but for now they are stiff. Very happy with this purchase and will likely purchase more in the future.

I wanted another factory 8 round mag for my SR1911. My LGS didn't have them on the shelf and it was cheaper to buy it here than from Ruger's site. It works - no malfunctions so far. And I actually like the baseplate on these better than the one on the Wilson Combat mag I bought elsewhere.

Arrived 2 days ahead of schedule by USPS. They are genuine Ruger magazines as advertised. I bought them for my EDC and will put them to the test, however, the 7 rd mags that I currently have have never failed and I don't expect these to do anything different. I have six of these mags for my Smith and Wesson E Series 1911s. The magazines the guns come with are crap and will not load or feed right but these do without fail. I also swap out the recoil spring for a wolf 18.5 pound spring and the guns run and run. No matter what 1911 I have I will only run these mags.

Magazine works as advertised. Holds and feeds bullets. Good quality

My SR-1911 likes to be fed and these factory eight rounders with bumper pads are just what the Dr. ordered. Fit and function are perfect and they are holding up on the range pretty good so far, price was not bad either.
