Ruger SR40C 40S 3.5 15R BLK3477
[3477]
$429.00
by steven c Date Added: Wednesday 11 April, 2012
Bought this a couple of months back. After watching the hickok45 video on this gun I decided to give it a try. So far I am happy with it although the trigger was a real turn off at first. It pulled hard and gritty. I've shot 400 rounds of Georgia Arms "canned heat" 165 gr

and 185gr. Not one single problem with anything at all, went bang every shot. The trigger has gotten a lot better than it was but still not ideal. As far as recoil I don't have a lot of experience with 40's.I can say it feels like its in the ballpark with my 4" 357 revolver. Of

course it's a little different and I'd say a bit easier on the wrist than the 357 I have. I like that it is thin enough to conceal easy but honestly I thought it was a bit on heavy side for its size. I bought this over the M&P for conceal carry due to the bulkiness of the double

stack mags. So overall I'm happy with the Ruger and especially with the NO troubles that came with it.
