I am complete happy with this AK! What a great buy!!

Right out of the box everything is great! I've put about 800 rounds through it so far without a single failure. The wood furniture on it looks great! The only complaints I might have is the compensator on the end is a little loose, but that's fine as long as you just make sure its screwed on tight before you shoot it. If you decide to mount optics on it I would recommend putting it on the gas block or in the far front of the dust cover. I used the side optic mount and it sits pretty high on it, so its hard to get a good cheek weld. Great purchase and would recommend!

Purchased this before the huge price gouge. Great gun and it performed under any and all conditions you can throw at it.

Right after my check cleared it was fast and smooth. The Rifle blew my mind away, this stuff had great accuracy at 25 yards even at fast target acquisition rate. 100% recommendation.

Buds Gun Shop did a good job but the gun itself was built pretty cheap. Parts were assembled crooked and the stock had a thin crack in it.

Exactly what I expected from a modern day WASR10.
Cons: Nothing comes with these imported Romanian AKM’s anymore. No cleaning rod, No cleaning kit, and only one Magpul AK Pmag generation one. Meaning polymer locking tab, not metal. If you’re expecting a grade a finish, don’t. Anything from the Cugir factory is going to come with a standard parkerized finish with scratches, you have to expect that. The wood stock set they use now a days is cheap U.S. Hard wood with a semi gloss finish, you’ll want to replace this if you plan on doing extensive shooting.
Pros: the days of canted front sights, and gas blocks are pretty much gone. Everything on this WASR10 is straight. All parts are new manufactured with matching numbers. All though I stated the finish as a con, it could be a pro for some people (like myself) that like the character it brings to the rifle. AK’s aren’t meant to look pretty. Period. The barrel is cold hammered forged and chrome lined. The trunnions, bolt, and carrier are all cold hammered forged as well. In my opinion this is a great rifle that only needs a furniture upgrade. I would recommend this to any purist or first time AK buyer. These aren’t $350 dollars anymore, and the price will continue to climb over $800. Better act fast, who knows what could happen with political sanctions. Imports like this are becoming more scarce. If you want one, don’t hesitate. I 100% recommend this over any American made AKM. The way I see it is, I would buy an AR15 made in Romania, why would I buy and AK made in America?

Words cant express how thrilled i am with this purchase. My first AK-47 and definitely won't be my last. Masterfully crafted, yet simplistic and proficient. A little over 500 rounds through it so far and 0 malfunctions etc. Century Arms built a gem.

Great gun, pretty sure I got the last one put it on layaway right before the pandemic and paid it off mid April. No canted sights, all matching numbers (made in 2020!). Haven't had any issues with pmags or Korean steel mags, if you can get your hands on one do it.

My FFL dealer won't let me come by his house to pick up the rifle.

Great gun. Came with a cleaning kit but no cleaning rod. I shoot this gun often and have over 1,000 rounds through it. Its groups are okay and iv had no malfunctions with it. Love this gun and prefer it over an AR.

I'm curious to hear from other buyers of this gun what came in their box. I received the rifle and one magazine. Even the cleaning rod was stripped from the gun!! Why? We're talking a $5 TO $10 DOLLAR ITEM removed from a gun priced over $700. I'm still rubbing my head. Anyway, the gun is fine. Multiple small scratches which I expected. I'm very disappointed in Century Arms for not including a stinking cleaning rod.

This was my first purchase from Buds and it was an awesome experience. The Rifle arrived at FFL and was in excellent condition, no canted sights, rivets all good - no concerns with that at all. Hope to put some rounds downrange sometime this week and am looking forward to it. Thanks Buds!

Great service from Buds. The rifle is well built with excellent fit and finish. Front sight and gas block were straight. All the furniture was well finished. Very nice trigger.

Watch AK Operators Union on YouTube reviews...I really like the Palmetto State Armory G3 but they do not have a chrome-lined Barrel which I preferred for shooting cheap Steel cased ammo..

Fantastic quality rifle, sights are straight as an arrow, no canting whatsoever. Mag well is tight, fits all mags. I fired 400 rounds the day I received it and it ran flawlessly, no malfunctions of any kind. These are 2019 production rifles, do not hesitate to buy, get them while you can!

3000 rounds and not one single FTF. After about 90 rounds continuously, the front furniture starts to smoke!! I generally let her cool off for a while at that point! GREAT RIFLE as far as dependability. Both the front and rear sights were severely canted, but it is still accurate as the sights were adjusted at Century Arms i'm assuming. I put an optic on it but it's nice knowing that if my optic fails I can still rely on the open sights. Overall, I am very happy with this rifle and for Buds Gun Shop service.

it's a great weapon I do enjoy shooting it back to go to take it to the ranch again tomorrow my only complaint is that though the weapon is appointed for a cleaning rod I did not receive one so I have to go to a gun show or something to find one otherwise it's a nice rifle.

NEVER EVER USE THEIR FINANCE PLAN!!!!! It’s a company out of California that is there to screw you completly over! If you’re are not able to pay it off in the amount of days off you chose then their interest sky rockets!!! I paid mine off prior to that problem but wanted to help someone out, let’s say you pay 2k, you will pay like 6k in interest with this company!!! Other than that, I love this gun and buds delivered again!!!

Great rifle 1500 rounds later and not a single problem the only reason im giving it 4 stars is because im seen premature wear on the channel were the bolt rides but that can be solved with a new bolt carrier in the future all other parts are perfect.

This is probably my 4th or 5th firearm I've purchased through Bud's. As usual, their customer service and processing were excellent! Rifle was in good condition and had a decent finish.

Just got the new WASR out to the range. Shot about 400 rounds., all steel case Tula and Wolf, not a single hiccup. Was shooting tight groups... about a foot off the target- I mean completely off the paper, and then a foot more- at 30 yards! Sure the front sight block is no longer canted, but the rear sight leaf certainly is, which I did not scrutinize closely at all at the FFL. It looks like the pins aren't symmetrically positioned, they'e about .050" off center from one another. Was mostly able to straighten that out at the range with a hammer (the butt plate of my 91/30 Mosin), still kind of a bummer and ate up about an hour fiddlin' with it. If you order one and don't want to have to fix it out of the box, make sure you check both sights closely; bringing a square or a straightedge is a good idea I wish I had earlier. Otherwise you'll either need a side-mounted accessory rail and an optic or something more robust than the old Romy G (like a milled Arsenal, about 2x the price). I've heard there are still rare cases of the new WASRs that have canted front sight blocks as well; those will take some more massaging than the rear. Really reliable action though, and overall I'm pleased with it's performance (I had an optic ready to go, but didn't even need to mount it after the 'quick' fix). And, of course, Bud's was top-notch in the transaction! They even accommodated my FUBAR Colorado mag. capacity of 15 and removed the 30-rounder prior to shipping.

Awesome... click clack... the unforgettable sound of an AK bolt being racked. Glad I got mine before the plant blew up, no more imports. I've wanted an AK since I was a kid, and this one does not disappoint.
