I was very pleased with the CPX-2 pistol that I ordered from Bud's. Despite its relatively low price, the pistol looks and feels like a high-quality gun. There were no surface blemishes and the gun looks and handles well. I think that it is about the perfect size for a concealed carry gun. It is similar in size to a snub-nose 38 but, being a semi-auto, it is thinner. It is big enought so that, with the extended magazine base-plate, I can get all four fingers on the grip. I feel that this really enhances control with these small carry guns. I despise tiny semi-auto's that force you to wrap your pinky finger under the magazine. I have only had one trip to the range, so far, but the gun performed well on its trial run. I fired 72 rounds of three different types of 9mm ammo without any problems of any kind. The gun is accurate too given its small size and limited sight radius. I was carrying a snub-nose but this CPX-2 is better in several ways. With 10 1 ammo capacity, it beats my old snub-nose. The 9mm also hits as hard or harder than the 38 spl. The CPX-2 also seems the have less recoil and better control compared to my snubby. My only complaint would be that the bottom of the magazines, just at the top of the base plate, has a couple of sharp corners that could nick you as you insert the magazine into the gun. However, that is a minor issue that could be easily fixed. Bud's delivery was a bit slow but it was understandable given the way that they have been hammered with orders recently. Overall, I would recommend the CPX=2 for people who are looking for a good quality, but inexpensive, carry semi-auto pistol.
