Solid mag that holds up. Wish it had a more robust follower. Dont leave full for long periods of time or springs get weak.

Buy these over the steel mags, much higher quality.

I bought 2 of these; both work flawlessly and look good in the rifle. They are shorter and much lighter than the metal magazine that came with the rifle and they cost half as much.

Just like the Youtube clips I watched in advance about this magazine, it definitely has a better feel when loading & unloading; compared to the metallic magazine which comes with the purchase of the Scout Gunsite rifle. For the same 10 rd capacity, it has a smaller profile and has a more snugly fit when seated inside. Each round also 'feels' better to load into this magazine's chamber. Will be getting more of these in the near future.

An absolute MUST if you have a Ruger scout rifle. It's smaller, lighter, and loads and feeds much easier than the stock steel magazine. Also won't scratch up the magazine well. Well worth the purchase.

Great product. Lighter, easier to load, and fit better than the metal magazines. Cheaper too. A win all around.

I have been a Buds customer for more than a decade. I am lucky that I live within a hour of their retail store. I recently purchased a Ruger Gunsite scout from Amber in the retail store. Amber and Dale were very helpful. I wanted to have a few more magazines. I ordered them online from a Buds, and they arrived at my home within two days. My only complaint is I cannot leave a review specifically for the rifle since I bought it in the store. The magazines work fine. I do like the ability to load from the top with the magazine in place. The factory mag has to be loaded by depressing each round under the feed lips and then sliding them in place. I plan on buying a few from Alpha Industries as well. These mags are spec'd the same as Accuracy International. Alpha Industries is a American made product that is steel. They are lower profile like the ones offered by Buds. I would like to also say the rifle itself is very accurate. I am very meticulous about barrel break in procedures. Every shot I fired was also through a chronograph. The shorter barrel does reduce velocity on average by 125 - 150 fps. I have read poor reviews on accuracy from this rifle, I can say they are wrong. My rifle from a dead Alec rest regularly fired sub moa. It does appear to like heavier bullets, 168-175. I would definitely recommend these mags. I would also recommend the AI mags as well.

Great product! These mags seem to be superior to the steel mag in every way but looks. The steel mag is cooler looking but these polymer mags are lighter, easier to load, feed better than the steel mag, and are a heck of a lot cheaper. Hopefully one day the price will drop into the pmag range.

Great alternative to the single stack factory mag. It functioned flawlessly!
