Taurus 1738031FS 738 TCP 380 1MAG NO CASE [1738031FS]

Date Added: Saturday 09 June, 2012
Great value. After ordering I read many reviews. Early ones complained of feed issues, and a poor finish on the feed ramp.
My FFL said he liked his, and that he had sold about 20 of them to that point.
The first thing I noticed during inspection. A polished feed ramp. Taurus is listening to it's customers.
I fired winchester FMJ, Cor Bon high velocity HP, and Hornady critical defense HP's. All ran flawlessly. I tried TulAmmo FMJ's The gun jammed badly. It appeared that the case wasn't sized properly.
I let my daughter fire it. It was her first time shooting. she fired one shot, and put it down. I noticed it didn't feed the next round. So... a firm grip is important. (as with any blowback design)
I only fired it at the 7 yard bench. But, the groups were very tight.
Bottom line. Loaded with Cor Bon, or Hornady critical defense. I would trust this gun as a CCW, or nightstand gun. This coming from someone who only trusted revolvers so far.
