Taurus 45/410 2 PUBLIC DEFENDER POLY BLUE [2441021PFS]

Taurus Judge Public Defender Poly with 2" barrell.
This is my first Buds purchase, and I'm happy with the transaction.
For the gun, I inspected it at my FFL, and it was obvious the gun had been test-fired. It was a little dirty, as others with Taurus guns have mentioned. The action was pretty stiff, so the first thing I did when I got home was do a full clean and re-oil. Now I will mention that I use Mobil 1 0w20 car oil to oil all of my guns, and I have been using Mobil 1 synthetic car oil for over 15 years and I personally find it superior (and cheaper) than any gun oil/paste I've ever used. At this point, the gun felt much better and felt like it was cycling like it should. I took it to the range and alternated between Winchester .45 colt 100 rounds, Winchester AA Target load .410 7.5 shot (50 rounds), Winchester .410 000 buckshot (15 rounds), Winchester .410 1/5oz slugs (15 rounds), and reload .45 colts (from the range) 150 rounds. The gun performed flawlessly, both using single-action and double-action firing. I had zero issues. All .410 rounds had noticeably higher kick/recoil vs the .45 colt, but that's to be expected. The only thing that I didn't llke about the gun (that others have mentioned before) was the short grip, but I did buy the gun becuase it's compact. It is significantly lighter than other Judges, and I would have no problems carrying this thing all day. Overall this gun is a great performer.
