This gun was part of my 6th purchase from Bud's, and as with all previous orders, this transaction was smooth and flawless. The one thing I will say about Bud's however, if you pay by Echeck, be prepared to wait up to 2 weeks before they ship the gun out due to them having to wait for the payment to clear. So if you don't want to wait any longer for your gun, eat the additional cost of just paying by Credit card and not receiving the cash discount. To me, it's worth receiving my gun about a week and a half earlier. Anyway, on to the gun. This is an excellent firearm, and my first from Springfield. I have heard nothing but positive comments about Springfield, and that stands to reason. The fit and finish on this firearm are superb. For being a polymer frame, it handles the recoil of the 45acp load very well, and kicks very mild. All the accessories that come in the XDM package are great, and the most handy and useful being the Fobus paddle holster fitted to the Springfield XDM. This is a very nice package that you receive and it is by far one of the best firearm purchases I have made in awhile. The gun is extremely accurate, and super easy to field strip and clean. I will continue to purchase Springfield firearms in the future, and I will always be a Bud's customer. Thank you.
