As usual, Bud's was a pleasure to deal with. All online. Delivery was within stated norms.
This is my second LCP. The first was the basic one - and it behaved well. With a bit of concentration, I could put all my shots in a 6" circle at 15 yards in decent light. But as a few have stated, with older eyes, rapidly getting the sight picture can be challenging - especially in low light. So that prompted the lasermax version.
This was my first 'laser-guided' weapon, but I was surprised at how quickly I was able to adapt. I was able to consistently put all my rounds in an 8" circle at 25 yards. But what was more important was how quickly I was able re-acquire the target after the LCP's not insignificant pop.
Other miscellaneous comments: The laser was easy to turn on. I am concerned that it will turn on in my soft pocket holster and run the battery down. I'll report back when I adapt my holster. Before, my base LCP would fit in a size 1 cutaway blackhawk holster. The LaserMax adds just enough additional girth to the trigger guard that it won't fit into the holster. So I found that the cheapie size 3 blackhawk works - but covers the grip - making it a little more difficult to draw. I'll report back when I find the right size.
