This is my second Savage rifle, it is super accurate and of decent quality for the price. I replaced the cheap plastic trigger guard after it cracked in half ,with a factory metal one. If you're buying any rifle that comes with a scope mounted like this combo please save yourself the trouble and throw away the garbage scope mounts and rings. I took them off and put lock tight on every screw and still it had a 6 inch group at 100 yds with hand loads. After replacing them with Leupold mounts and rings I could get sub 1 inch groups. Scope is not bad and holds zero just fine on a different rifle. Overall love the rifle for the price but ditch the accessories.

Great accuracy out of the box, I use factor ammo to sight in then reload brass had half. inch 5 shot group at 100 yard.

It's quite hard to find a left handed bolt action rifle these days, most manufacturers don't seem to care that there are a lot of us hunters that are lefties, I'm certainly glad that Savage makes an excellent, accurate rifle for us.
After receiving the rifle I sighted it in using my own laser bore sighter and zeroed it in with live rounds. This thing is a tack driver and beyond my wildest dreams for accuracy. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Nice rifle,only problem was it was listed as factory bore sighted. It wasn't even close.

Great shooter. Sub MOA accuracy out of the box at 300 yrds with cheap Winchester ammo. Can't beat that! Nikon scope is nice with BDC dots for assistance. Be advised if you're wanting to put an aftermarket stock on it, you'll need to contact Savage to get the bottom metals.

The gun was delivered quickly in perfect condition. After initial degreasing and oiling, it was shooting sub MOA with 130 grain Remington core lokt. The only issue was the scope was not factory bore sighted...was not even on paper at 50 yards.

Ordered rifle from buds on Friday afternoon and used a preferred FFL. Had the gun on Tuesday morning. So far so good, haven't had it out to the range yet but I am very pleased with buds so far!!!! Will be using them for any future gun purchases!!

Great gun but the scope did not work out of the box. The reticle moved while shooting. Had to send it in to Nikon.
