Savage 111 111FCXP3 7mm Mag 3-9x40mm Scope
by Cody H
Date Added: Tuesday 20 September, 2011
Sighted it with some Win Super X 175gr and got a 3/4'' group with them. In the beginning I took the scope off and put a better one on it, unfortunately my Savage Edge that I put the scope that came with the 111 was messed up and made me get 4'' groups with rem Core-lokts when last year I got 1'' groups at 100 yards. Overall it is a great gun for the price and an amazing recoil pad, the only downfalls is the average looking synthetic stock and the terrible scope that came with it. If you have another scope I would replace it, if not I would highly recommend a 4-16x40 Center Point scope, illuminated green and red mil-dot reticles, large zoom and elevated dials, can't get much better than that!
