Received the gun, looked nice, light weight, super satisfied until put a shell casing in the gun and bolt seized up with case in it! Never fired sent back to savage, so waiting to see how this all ends, wish i had just bought from big box store and could have returned it, now gone for a month or two a bouncing around in more trucks, ups! Everything i read about these rifles, people are very satidfied, hopefully i will be too! Thanks for reading.

Had the Savage 116 in 30-06 picked out for a while. Saw some mixed reviews on a facebook sight but decided to "pull the trigger" anyway because I have a few Savages that are great and accurate shooters. Glad I did! Love this rifle. Right out the box itll shoot quarter size groups with cheap ammo. Ordered from Buds on a Friday and it was delivered to my FFL onthe following Wed

Magazine won't click into place. Filed a customer service request, got tired of waiting for a response so I bought another magazine directly from Savage. It doesn't click into place either. Must be something wrong with the bottom of the receiver. I'm going to return the rifle and trade it for a higher quality weapon when I get it back. No problem with Buds on the transaction, but I am seriously disappointed with Savage.

Great service by BUDS. The rifle is worth the money and the Savage quality shines through. The only recommendation I can offer is to have the scope bore sighted prior to going to the range to sight it in. From 100 yards it was not on paper; however, once I sighted the scope in, it held true and worked perfectly. I would recommend this rifle to anyone.

Once sighted in, this gun is great. The price at Bud's was unbeatable. I will say that the scope was loose when I recieved it and tried to sight it in the first time, but it's definately my fault for not checking before heading to the range(and wasting 25 rounds). Once sighted in, I've put 3 shots on top of each other at 100 yards. I'm more than happy with this purchase from Bud's, both with the product, and with price/service offered by Bud's.
