After months of deliberating between an all-around do it all type of shotgun, I decided to purchase the Beretta Xcel PT 30" KO. I couldn't be happier, the fit and finish on this gun is beautiful, it's very well-balanced and points quickly to its targets. The gun comes in a breakdown-type polymer case that protects the receiver and barrel from movement inside. The kick-off recoil dampening system makes this gun a pleasure to shoot, I concentrated on the targets and didn't think about recoil once. I added the gun pod unit to this gun, kind of a gimmick but it works well to keep track of shot count. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the gun and happy that I purchased a specialized shotgun instead of a field shotgun to use for trap/skeet. As always, Bud's was great throughout the transaction.
