Purchased online, picked up at nearby Lexington, KY Buds store. BUDS 5 star service
I obtained for gift for young shooter who was wanting tactical type 22 such as this. I personally don't think a semi auto is needed but that's what was wanted.
I purchased the Beretta ARX160 due to reviews I read myself and buds video, I'm writing review due to my setting up and shooting weapon close to 100 rounds and cleaning. I was amazed at the excellent design and function of this weapon. I did add a forearm grip to lower rail that is all ( I think that is needed on all ARX160's). The gun is like a AR15 add and personalize all you want. I rated gun by individual feature below.
-Stock=5 stars= adjustable, folds to side seems to be of good quality.
-Ease of cleaning =5 stars=with stock folded remove action out rear (while pushing safety backward) very easy to snake out and clean.
My only fault to gun was the feel of the safety when pushing backward to disassemble, the plastic? lever feels like its going to break?
-Sights=5 star= flip up rear and front adjustable works well, plenty room between on rail for scope/red dot ECT.
-Left or right bolt=5 star= I set up for right hand by putting bolt on right (done due to right hand will be working bolt and not near trigger when working)
-Trigger=5 star= not to light, not to heavy breaks clean.
-Barrel=5 star= I was worried that point of aim would be off due to barrel low, not noticeable. also thanks Beretta for adding roll pin to flash hider along with 1/2x28 threads this keeps it from working loose.
-FTF/cycle=5 star= I used CCI mini mag HV 36 gr. no problem, very accurate. manual request HV ammo!
-Magazine=5 star= no problem.
- sling rings= 5 star= included.
overall 5 star gun
