The two-tone P238 [238380TSSLSR] with night sights, laser, extended finger rest magazine AND Houge rubber grips is just what I was looking for in terms of a concealed carry handgun.
I've shot Walther .380 PPK/S and .32 ACP PP handguns for years and can say that the Sig Sauer P238 lives up to my expectations for what I wanted in a small concealed carry handgun.
For its size, it exhibits minimal recoil and shoots a nice group @ 20 ft. This seems to be the ultimate P238 package for the money.
My only beef with this handgun is the trigger pull. Compared to my Walthers, IT'S HEAVY. It also doesn't seem very consistent in terms of how much pull it takes to fire from one shot to the next. I ended up breaking the gun down and cycling the hammer several hundred times. I then lubricated the surface of the "catch point" between the hammer and sear. The pull now seems much more consistent but is still a bit heavy for my taste.
With that said, I liked this handgun enough to also buy the Lady version [238380LADY] for my wife. It exhibits the same trigger pull phenomenon and I've just finished cycling and lubricating this gun with the same outcome as the two-tone.
All in all, these P238s will make nice concealed carry sidearms for us! My advice is to buy one (or two or three!)......
