This is a rifle I can’t stop bragging about! It shoots as good as it looks! To date I’ve only been able to shoot it at 50 yards.... but the grouping is like nothing I’ve been able to achieve with any other rifle! At least the ones I’ve owned. Bud’s said they typically ship in 3 to 7 days, I received an apology email from them on day 3 stating the rifle had not yet been shipped?!? 2 days later the rifle was at the shop I had it sent to! Great folks! Great deal!

Most bolt action rifles from low to mid price range, nowadays have detachable mags. I am old school and prefer the hinged floor style. This rifle is well made, the trigger guard and hinged floor is made of metal. The stock is well made, it does not feel cheap like a savage axis I had. The cheek piece fits nicely, the rubberized parts on the stock help you to have a firm grip on it. The bolt and the pickup and extraction of the cases is smooth as silk. The trigger is very nice, just right... The rifle 20 inch barrel, makes it comfortable to swing around and is very accurate and with its 1 in 9 twist it is just ideal for those heavier bullets. The finish on the barrel could have been better, but overall for the price.. This rifle is great.

This rifle is worth every penny. It is very solid and accurate with a great trigger. Only down side is the weight but that's because the trigger guard and magazine area are all metal witch is rare now days on a gun in this price range.

Received in 1 week from placing order. Put a Redfield Revolution 2X7 and Talley Light Weight mounts/rings on it. Bore sighted it. Using Super-X 64 gn Power points at 25 yd the first two shots were 1" low, 5 clicks up 2 shots dead center. Good enough. I hunt pigs in a cedar break so there are no long shots. Picked the Weatherby over other brands due to decent LOP, Short 20" barrel, Light, Hinged floor plate and 1x9 twist. No need for detachable mags or triggers with flippy things on them.

Excellent bang for the buck (pun intended)... Able to get 1MOA out of the box, a light, crisp trigger and fit and finish above the price point. This is one of my favorite guns to take to the range for an ego boost, as it shoots so easily and so accurately.
