The Sig P238 is a great little carry weapon for those of us with arthritic hands. This and the Glock 42 are the only semi automatics that I can rack. The Sig I bought from Buds several years ago has been a fantastic weapon and I became a fan of this model, thus I just had to buy another one. Granted, it doesn't like inferior ammo, but who does? PMC Bronze works great and as does Fiocchi and Sellier and Bellot. A Sig is a little pricey but you can't so wrong with a P238!

Shoots like a dream. Very low, smooth recoil. Easy to rack. Very accurate. Finish is beatific and great sights. Not one issue.

Great little 380 and is awesome as a conceal carry especially with my IWB holster....shoots beautifully..makes my Ruger LCP feel like a toy gun..;) quality as usual from Sig Sauer

This SIG P238 is my all time favorite everyday-carry pistol. It is super reliable and the Cerakote finish is an excellent touch which helps in longevity and worry-free maintenance. I love the ambidextrous controls. It's like a 1911...only smaller and lighter! If you want a reliable, tough-as-nails concealed carry pistol, then check out the SIG P238 line of pistols. They're fantastic!

I purchased this gun for the wife as a Christmas Present. I travel a lot and she rides her horse in the backcountry so she needed her own reliable firearm to carry either in her saddle bag or to keep at home when I am on travel. She has small hands and limited strength so this pistol w/ the lighter spring and smaller grip is absolutely perfect. It is the only high quality pistol we found that met our criteria. To date she has fired about 150 rounds through it and it has performed perfect. The trigger is exceptional. This is a 1911 style pistol so you need to get used to that kind of operation as opposed to a striker fired gun or a double action exposed hammer. She is OK w/ that although we do not and never will carry it "cocked and locked". Superb quality and no regrets.

I purchased my Sig P238 to be my primary carry pistol. I have had it for about 8 months now and can say without a doubt it is a great little gun. The fit and finish are top notch. I have put about 700 rounds through it (lots of steel cased ammo, some aluminum and brass... along with JHP's) and the reliability has been 100%. Simply put, if you pull the trigger it goes bang. Here are some of the things that I really like about this gun: 1. Great quality/reliabilty 2. The rubber hogue grip is super comfortable and with the grip extension on the 7 round mag I feel like I am holding a bigger gun (I usually wear men's large gloves and I get all three of my fingers on the grip with the extended mag). 3. The weight of the gun (alloy frame as compared to the small polymer pistols like the bodyguard and LCP) make it a dream to shoot because the recoil is much less noticeable (not really "snappy" at all). 4. Outstanding accuracy from a small gun 5. Fantastic night sights 6. VERY easy to rack the slide (I think this would be a great gun for anyone who has a hard time working the slide on most other auto's) 7. Nice beaver-tail, makes getting slide bite from this small frame auto a non-issue 8. Easy take-down to clean 9. Great selection of aftermarket accessories (tons of holster options, sights, and trigger kits) 10. Wonderful trigger with virtually NO take-up/creep... just a nice crisp break (helps with accuracy) Honestly I really have nothing to say bad about this gun. Hopefully this will help anyone on the fence about this gun. You really can't go wrong here folks!

I purchased the Sig P238 Desert from Bud's about six weeks ago and I could not be more pleased. It was the first time I ever purchased a gun from Bud's and I was initially leery. However, the telephone support folks were great and made the purchase a smooth, at-ease experience. Everything worked well from purchase to delivery. The new P238 is great! It loads easily, it's light, the fit is very comfortable, and I can't believe how accurate the gun is even at long distances. I have not had a jam and the empty casing extraction works nice and clean. I can see very well at night with the 3-dot night sights. My wife is 5'2" tall and she loves the gun, also. You guys made me feel confident.
