I received the DoubleTap 45 today. It is nicely constructed and as compact as a small frame 380. And like a kid at Christmas I just had to fire it. So off to the range I went. I do like the gun. The only concern you may have is the fact that it such a small frame you need to remember that it is a 45 ACP. I own and fire regularly all calibers of weapons and It was surprising to me how much more kick it had compared to larger frame autos. You don’t have the displacement on the hand grip that you have with the larger frame guns. So just be prepared and enjoy.
