Nice wheel gun. Can’t beat the cost.

exactly what I expected. I wanted a pistol for my car that could sit for long periods of time in a center console and be very reliable if needed (no jams). This revolver fit the situation. It has a hell of a kick, so I practice with mostly 38SP but some 357. I'm sure I won't notice the kick if I ever have to use it for protection.

Dandy little CCW revolver. Accurate as it needs to be and as expected in a snubby. Fit/finish are very nice and has a smooth action. Good SA trigger.

I bought this gun from Buds many years ago. My wife carries it in her vehicle and shoots 38 special out of it. Very accurate, and soft to shoot with the lighter rounds. She carries 9mm in her purse for higher capacity. Great shooting gun, and is beautiful to look at. We have had 0 issue with this weapon, and we love it. Thanks to Bud's the transfer was quick and smooth.

I got this for the wife as a carry gun when hiking. She has only fired .38 special from it and that is all the recoil she wants to handle. It has been totally reliable and adequately accurate.

This little Rossi is a fine, well-made gun. But, it just doesn't fit my hand. The trigger guard extends lower and is situated closer to the grip than in other snub-nose revolvers. The result is, for me, that the middle knuckle of my middle finger gets a hard whack with each shot. It actually caused a bruising that remained painful for an extended period of time. Two cohorts who were shooting with me on that first day experienced no similar problem. But, before making a purchase, I think it would be wise to actually hold the weapon as you would when shooting to see how it might impact your knuckle. With that as a caveat, the gun is well made, well finished, and easily concealed. The stainless is highly polished and looks great. In my opinion, this Rossi makes an excellent concealed/back-up piece and should definitely get the job done.

Very nice looking bright stainless .357! Mine must be the new batch without the Rossi stamp on the barrel; underside is marked .357. I have not had one problem with it; he (Slick) revolves effortlessly and locks up tight. I have dry fired it ~a hundred times and it has been flawless. I was surprised that it wasn't heavy at all, the DA trigger was manageable and with the hammer cocked it has a hair trigger! I would recommend this revolver if you want something simple to use and fair priced.

I am truly happy as I can be with my first handgun purchase from Buds Guns,it was fast and very easy. My Rossi 462 arrived at my FFL dealer in 3 business days, I inspected it and was very happy with the finish and the over-all quality of this revolver. This was my first time buying a firearm online and was a little nervous, but Buds made the tranaction from start to finish very easy and pleasant and rest assured it wont be my last time buying from Buds!

I ordered my Rossi 462 on Saturday and it showed up at my FFL dealer on Wednesday. Bud's is great! I tried it out today and it functioned well. The only negative is that the grip gave me a blister at the base of my thumb. I'll change it over to a softer grip like a Pachmayr Compact. These guns are a real value!

Received the 46202 Rossi Revolver stainless from Bud's in a fast and efficient manner. The gun's fit and finish seems good. Shot 50 rounds of 38sp and 50 rounds of 357mag at 10 yrds with ok grouping. 357 is harder to group tight. 38sp's were about 6 inches. Definitely not a shooter for beyond 10-15yrds but fun none the less. looks great too!

Picked up a Rossi 462 in .357 for my wife as a CCW. She is most comfortable with a smaller revolver. I would only shoot 38/38 p from it as I doubt that you could get all the powder from a 357 to burn in the short barrel. Long story short, this is a fantastic little gun! 50 target loads (cheap lead) and a partial box of Hornady 38 p through it so far. Smooth cylinder movement, descent trigger, adequate weight to carry comfortably even for my wife (5-5, 110 lbs), and pleasant to shoot with p ammo. Additionally, it is the most accurate "snubby" I have ever shot (probably due to the nice trigger). No problem consistently printing 4 inch groups free-hand out to 15 yards (I have no problem saying I am not a great pistol shot). I wish I had picked up a second one to keep in the glove box! I give this a two thumbs up, and a 5 star rating, and will be getting another when they are back in stock. This is a nicer gun than some that sell for twice the price.

I recently purchased two of these rossi 462 model revolvers. Good price at 280, local places and other websites want 350-450. I am pleased with the quality of them but I have a few problems. I ordered two thinking they would be identical revolvers and although very similar they are not identical between the difference in serial numbers. One revolver has 357 magnum etched into the side of the barrel with Rossi on the other side. the others barrel was plan and said 357 on the under belly of the barrel shroud. The other difference was the size of the Rossi logo etched behind the cylinder. The final difference, which bothered me the most is the trigger is different. One is wider and doesn't have much of a taper the other is thin with a nice taper. other than that I am pleased with the quality and speedy shipping after your order was processed. ** on a side note ** the finish is a bit dull for being "polished" If you would like to make the finish look like a mirror I polished them up with mothers mag wheel polish and they look almost flawless. Nice

I just want to say that this has been a great purchase from Buds again. This was my third purchase from Buds gun shop and they didnt disappoint. I bought this particular gun so that I would have a revolver in my collection and got more than what I was looking for. I have put about 100-200 rounds through this gun and it hits on target from atleast ten yards out. This gun would be a great concealment gun in my opinion. Great gun and unbeatable price. I live in nc and all the gun sales around here have this gun over 100 dollars more than buds .

Excellent Buy! Whoever said that you compromise quality for affordability, obviously haven't purchased this gun. It has certainly exceeded my expectations, and has given me a whole new perspective of the Taurus brand.

Been looking for a CC snub .357 and this is a nice gun. I have shot a number of .38 and .357 rounds through it, accurate as you would expect from a 2 inch barrel. Nice gun for $280.

Took this 357 mag to the range. Fired 60 rds 357 and 38 spec. All rounds on target. Grip is excellent for my hands so far seems like a quality gun. will put 100 rds thru it nxt week. The fit and finish are excellent. bob

Ok i seen this rossi at a gun shop for 411 by me and though HMM what a GREAT looking gun . So when i seen it on here for 291 i gave it a shot even though i'm not a taurus fan . Gun came in with factory grease dried to it ........ But after a nice polish it is one of the nicest looking firearms in my collection . Now for the shooting range report , Gun is allot of fun to shoot even for my wife . I liked the gun so much i made it my primary dresser gun . Only thing that i can see is 25 + yards is inaccurate but thats a snubby for ya . Great gun and as always buds was a pleasure .

This gun exceeded my expectations. Like many people, I have long viewed Rossi/Taurus as a second tier manufacturer. I only bought this because I am a pistol instructor, wanted a heavy snub-nose for classes, and this was inexpensive. In fact, it is a class act. The workmanship is superb, and the hammer, trigger, and cylinder feel as finely machined as my S&W 686. The recoil from both .38 Special and +P ammo is very pleasant. .357 is a little stout, but that is to be expected. All in all, an excellent gun at a bargain price. I will be recommending this one. Delivery to my LGS was prompt, and the process was smooth.

wow great revolver! Nice shiny finish, great feel with my smaller hands. Shockingly accurate, even with the 2 inch barrel, I guess because it grips good and easy to control. Very light trigger in single action, not bad in double action....really fun to shoot. I sorta wish I had waited for the blued one to show up again, the stainless cost $70 more. Very accurate with 38 specials and 357 both, and altho the 357 round has a bit of a bite, its really not too bad! Excellent snubbie!!
