I got to shoot my R972 today. I've had it about 3 weeks. It showed up with a few light tool marks in the finish, but I've been polishing it with Mother's Mag Polish. It looks like a mirror now..:) I shot about 120 rounds of WWB 158 gr 38, Remington UMC 38 P+ JHP 100 round pack, 125gr Fiocchi 357 Magnum. I was shooting paper at 10 yards, but I could kill the iron plate things at 25 yards when I noticed nobody was on them and I don't shoot very good..lol My 10 yard groups were about 2" or so not counting bad flinching (which is half of my shots). It was better than me. All the types of ammo shot around the bull. It's got adjustable sights, but I didn't need to touch them. I'm very happy with it. In full lockup the cylinder and barrel gap are about as tight as you can get it without binding. It is nicely made. Buds was normal awesome.
