Before this I had a Colt LE6920, but wanted a rifle-length AR instead of a carbine. Did a ton of research, as well as a back and forth internal discussion about whether to build one or not. Very, very glad I settled on this rifle. Incredibly accurate, fit and finish is dead on. Sighting in at 25yrds, I thought my second shot missed the target entirely before I realized it just barely opened up the already existing hole... 3rd made it an infinity sign. The only flyers I experienced in 100rds where entirely the fault of my shaky hands. Haven't taken it to the outdoor range yet, but I expect it to perform there as well. Can't wait to see how it does off a bag at 600yrds. No issues with some junk bulk ammo. A few minor complaints though. I do not like the included 5rd mag at all. It functions, but cuts up your finger when loading and rattles like a diamondback. Get some PMAGs immediately. Don't like the case either. Nice thought to include a plastic hard case instead of cardboard like most manufacturers, but this rifle is clearly designed to house a scope... and with a scope, there's no way that tiny case will fit it. Oh well. Lastly, the risers do not allow enough eye relief for my scope (Vortex HS-T 4-16x44), and probably most high magnification scopes. Going to have to get a cantilever mount. But that's really about it. Trigger is much better than mil-spec, hand guard is very lightweight and comfortable, buttstock is absolutely perfect for a lightweight varmint gun, no play or rattle at all. Just a solid AR from a very cool company. Having lived in Maine for many years, I'm glad to see they're still going strong in Windham, and I also appreciate the consideration for their west-coast customers.
