This gun is awesome. It shoots sub MOA at 100 yards. I have shot 5 deer with this rifle, with the longest shot being right at 250 yards. All of them dropped in their tracks. Combine this gun with a decent optic and you will have an unbeatable hunting machine. Dealing with Buds is always a pleasant experience.

I got this out to the range for its' maiden voyage, with 150gn Hornady GMX handloads A pure tackdriver. I went ahead and put the Limbsaver recoil pad I've put on my other Tikka magnums, to further reduce the recoil on this and I now have an ultralight, super accurate hiking rifle in .308. I'm glad I nabbed an older model T3 Lite vs T3X. Thanks, Bud's!

I ordered this rifle several months ago and have had a good opportunity to put several different loads through it to find what works best. I mounted a Leupold VX-3i mounted to the receiver with Talley rings, torqued to the correct inch/lbs, and secured with blue loc-tite thread locker. Nice scope, nice rings. The rings that came with the rifle weren't bad, but Talleys are much better. The loads I have tried so far have been: Hornady #80904 American Whitetail 165gr. Hornady #8093 SST 150gr Remington Core-Lokt in both 150gr and 180gr Federal Fusion F308FS1 150gr The Federal Fusion produced the tightest groups at roughly 1/2" at 50yds The Hornady American White Tail 165gr produced the worst groups, at roughly 3-4" at 50yds. No idea why. Maybe a bad batch, or maybe the rifle didn't like that load. I have no idea. The SST and 150gr Core-Lokt bullets took second place, and produced groups roughly the same size, and almost as good as the Federal Fusion. The 180gr Core-lokts didn't shoot bad, but produced more felt recoil (duh). A really nice, accurate rifle for the price. Finish was good, and the bolt runs fairly smooth. Now, with that being said.. My only issue with this rifle are the cheap, plastic plugs they use to fill the threaded holes for the scope rings in the top of the receiver. I ended up having to drill them out with a 1/16" drill bit because, being plastic and all, the screw heads stripped when I tried using a screw driver to remove them. At first I believed them to be cheap metal set screws. nope. they're plastic plugs which aren't even threaded, but still have a flat-head screw hole in the top. It ended up just being a PITA to remove them, and TIKKA should pony up the $.04 for actual metal set screws. I'm just glad I didn't fubar the receiver threads in removing the stripped plugs. Overall, I believe this to be a fantastic rifle for the price. With some good glass, it makes a very nice deer rifle.

Excellent transaction with Bud's Gun Shop. I have completed multiple orders through Bud's and have yet to have a serious issue. The Tikka T3 is a great rifle. The gun is light, the trigger is crisp, and the bolt (action) is as smooth as silk. This is my second Tikka rifle. When I decide I need another caliber, I'll have a third. Tack Drivers.

Amazing gun. Extremely light, smoothest bolt cycling that I have felt. I've killed 2 deer with it, and plan to use it for the rest of my life for hunting white-tails. Only con is the mags are expensive, and cheaply made, but they work.
