Great shooting rifle.

Consistent. Accurate. This is a great bolt action that is super smooth. The gun is a little heavy, but it feels good. My only recommendation is only use brass. Steel tends to get stuck if you fire more than 4-5 after it heats up. I wish I had gotten a longer barrel, only because that short barrel will ring your ears like no other.

This rifle is absolutely gorgeous! The pictures don’t do it an ounce of justice! What’s my favorite feature, the heavy barrel, threaded barrel, 3 lb adjustable trigger? All of the above wrapped up in the legendary Remington 700 platform!

This is my second sps rifle and love it Small short and lightweight great for long hunting walks. Rem 700 is a fantastic rifle platform with many accessories and upgrades everywhere. Thanks Buds Gun Shop for another easy purchase.

Great looking gun, a little heavy. Haven't shot it yet, but it's a Remington, nuff said on that. The action is smooth, yet firm. Trigger is crisp and will only improve. The stock would probably work for most people, but I am 5'4" tall and prefer a drop pistol grip. A heavier stock (laminate) will be here today. I will post back, only if it does NOT group well @ 300+ yrds. Purchased 8/20... At dealer 2:pm 8/22!!!! Now that's what I call service!!!

I am very pleased with this rifle. This is my first online purchase and am extremely pleased with the whole process.

Out of the box the 700 in 308 with a 16.5" barrel had a good fit and finish. I had no issues with the firearm. The barrel does not touch the stock on the forend as some have mentioned. The trigger is crisp and has a solid feel. For my intended purpose of hunting under 300 yards with this rifle. I placed a 1-4 scope on the rifle with low rings. On my first outing with the gun I was keeping 1/2 MOA at 100 yards with 180gr. interlock. This was shot from prone with a bipod. Once I get a little more time with the rifle I am sure it will be a solid performer. I am very happy with the rifle and would recommend it. In the future I will either put a can on or a brake.

This rifle surprises me everytime I shoot it. I was really impressed with the trigger, for what it is, pretty smooth and crisp. Did have a bit of rust on the barrel when I receive it, but a deep clean took care of the mid rust. Must have been from the storage from assembly to sale. Smooth action. Stock Butt pad and added comp made this gun a very less then normal recoil gun. Great for deer hunting or shooting if you need a compact rifle. For what it is...and the great price I got it at .....I got to give it a thumbs up

First purchase with buds n quite happy. Did what they say they would. The gun is accurate and perfect power. I put lupold base n burris rings n scope e1. The stock is okay but ill probably switch it out later. Dont forget that it may be small but heavy. You need a sturdy arm to hold this thing when shooting standing. Overall awesome gun
