I bought this firearm as a gun that I could beat up and not feel bad about any minor damages. 2 fifteen round magazines instead of the thirteen round ones came with the pistol, which was a nice bonus. Like any other budget firearm it was not without its flaws. In this case though the flaws were heavily outweighed by the positives. Fit and finish was okay. The coating on the slide showed some signs of having run while wet. The frame coating unfortunately easily scratches but I bought this gun to be used, not win any beauty contests. Accuracy was the only reason I did not give this firearm five stars. At 12 yards the gun shoots about 2 inches low from point of aim. Once I learned to aim a little high, the bullets would make a ragged hole in the 10 ring. Reliability was great, the gun fired every type of bullet I put into the magazine. Mostly WWB and Federal but also some Hornady zombie max rounds and some old Winchester PDX1 I had laying around. Recoil was a little more than a standard CZ 75B but that was to be expected given the alloy frame, still very manageable even with p rounds. Magazines that came with this gun were made by Mec-Gar. I did discover that the 16 round magazines from my CZ 75B's would work in this gun. They just stuck out a little bit from the bottom. I do not have a CZ PCR or Compact so I have no idea of those magazines would work but the full sized ones did for me. The trigger pull on the C-100 was surprisingly nice. The double action pull was about on par with both of my CZ's but the single action was so much nicer out of the box. I almost found it hard to believe that I could find a CZ clone which in my opinion works almost as well as the original version. I use this as one of my main CCW pistols and trust my life to it. I would not hesitate to buy another Tristar/Canik CZ clone, they are a lot of gun for the money.
