The versa max has the lightest recoil of any 12 gauge that I have shot. I have owned Benelli and Beretta and this gun is the easiest on the shoulder by far. This is my second versa max and I love them. Highly recommend the versa max.

A nice shotgun for the money. It is a versamax witho out the price. The gun functioned as it should and was what I expected.

I purchased this shotgun for waterfowl hunting and over any of the inertia shotguns via recommendations from other waterfowl hunters. After some extensive patterning, loading and unloading this shotgun, I can say that I am VERY impressed with it. The machining, flawless function and reduced recoil (due to the gas operation) are features that will make this shotgun perform as designed. The waterfowl patterns were excellent and most of the buckshot patterns were impressive. I will include this shotgun as my predator weapon of choice, for close range opportunities.
