I have a mixed impression of this firearm. Generally, the fit and finish seemed OK especially given its low price range. It was packed in grease and required a good deal of cleaning to get the stuff out of it. I basically had to disassemble the firearm to get all the grease out. They must have soaked the gun in the stuff. Unfortunately, I had problems on the first trip to the range. On the third shot, the front sight bead flew off and was lost. Then, somewhere around shot 15, the extractor jammed into the chamber and damaged the chamber wall to an extent. I stopped shooting the gun at this point.
I contacted Century Arms about the problems. They emailed me a label to ship the gun back to them. So, back it went. After 3 to 4 weeks (thereabouts), I received the gun back. It has a new sight bead and the chamber is fixed. I took it back to the range again and this time, it shot great. I have not shot it extensively but I did put about 2 boxes (50 shells) of bird shot through the gun to test it. No problems at all.
Overall, despite the initial problems, I feel that the gun was worth the money. Hopefully, all the problems are behind me now and the gun will continue to function well going forward.
