Love this 38! Lightweight, concealable

Nice light wheel gun snaps up due to weight.

So cool and handy I bought another one.

I like this .38 revolver, lite weight and great grip. Felt recoil is medium for a man, my wife did NOT like it! I loaded it with 110 ball and she still did not like the recoil, 2" barrel has a big impact on petite shooters (501 / 110 lbs.) Overall fit & finish are good, I believe the price is right for this mostly "plastic" revolver. Its now seeing regular use as a daily car gun and that is a good job for this weapon. Would I buy another, most likely. Mike M

Great gun for the money only complaint is I don’t care for the trigger to much. I would recommend it. Buds was fast with delivery as always.

I purchased this gun for my wife to carry for self defense. When it arrived I set up a target to test fire and to make sure the gun was up to par. As soon as I aimed the gun I could tell something was wrong. I had to tilt the gun down in order to line the "FIXED SITES" up. Standing 10 feet away from the target the gun shot 10 in. down and 8 in. to the left. I shot several rounds through it and every shot was the same. To make sure it wasn't error on my part I had 2 other people fire the gun and both had the same results. I read the Taurus return policy and shipped the gun back to Taurus. Here is the problem I have. Taurus had the gun for 7 MONTHS, I contacted them around 10 times during this process and was on hold for an average of 30min to 1hr every time except for once I made it through in 10 min. I had to pay for the shipping to them and after I complained about the shipping they told me If I would have contacted them they would have provided a shipping label to my FFL dealer. This was not in the return instructions. I asked for a refund but Taurus denied my request. Now I have a new gun that's been repaired 7 months later. All I wanted was a refund or a new gun that hasn't been repaired.

Really nice and light weight! Smooth trigger, I will probably replace my grip but no big deal! So far I’ve put 200 rounds through it like a champ. Satisfied with the overall purchase

This is a quality lightweight revolver, with a tight lockup and a nice hand feel. I got my money's worth with this purchase.

Just got this M85 poly. I have other snubbies(J-frames) but this feels lighter. I will clean it before I take it to the range. It has some packing grease that needs removal. Tried it in some of the J-frame OWB holsters and it fits. For my first online purchase I think it's a winner. Bud's was a great first online experience and Ready Aim Fire, my local FFL, did a great job getting me thru the paperwork. Thanks RAF! Bud's you have a new online customer.

Ordered the pistol on Sunday and it arrived at my FFL on the following Wednesday. Amazing shipping time! I've only put 50 rounds through it so far, but I am pleased with the pistol. It fits nicely in my hand, feels secure, and was accurate out of the box. I was skeptical about the polymer frame at first, but it seems to be strong and well put together. This was my first purchase from Bud's, and I would not hesitate to order from them again.

Very nice gun! Lightweight and has front bright fiber optic sight. I bought this for the wife's Christmas gift but it is mine now and I will be ordering another for her. This makes a perfect lightweight jacket pocket gun, purse gun, console gun. It shoots well and I'm glad I purchased one!

Some part of we wanted a .38 Special revolver for a while. I saw this little guy while the price was a little lower than now and decided to go for it. I wasn't expecting any kind of mind blowing performance from this snubbie, but I was quickly surprised by the performance. Having never shot a handgun like this before, I was very happy with the accuracy for such a short barrel. Maybe I lucked out and got an exceptional example of this firearm, but it was still nice to have such a nice shooting experience right out of the box. This little gun was received pretty much ready to go right of the box. There isn't much to do with a snubbie. The first thing I noticed was that this gun was very light. I have shot a wide range of smaller handguns, but for the power you get from this cartridge, this is the hardest hitting light gun I have. All told, get one and enjoy. Don't be surprised if you find yourself questioning your concealed carry option after giving this one a go.

got my protector poly last night. gave it a good lube job. wasn't to sure about it when i first got it, looks different than the regular 85 (sold mine and this is the replacement for it) but after handling it for a few minutes i come to realize that this one is way better. not only is it super light, but the frame is wider around the cylinder that will really cut down on snagging on holster and etc. i really like the high viz front sight, and the grip is far more comfortable than my ol' 85's grip was. can't wait to squeeze out some +p hand loads and get this puppy rocking.
