I bought this gun at the beginning of 2014 as a range piece. For the most part I plink with it, shooting various reloads of whatever I have laying around. It's definitely a well built gun and cleans up nice. Once I received the gun, I immediately put some wood grips on it. Thus far I have probably shot between 2,000 and 2,500 rounds through it and it's been great. I did have some malfunctions that were ammo-caused.
I'm a big proponent of the decocker--I like them on my other guns too. But note, that decocking this pistol with the decocker lowers the hammer down only part way (maybe 2/3 down). So this pistol actually has three trigger pulls--full DA, decocked DA, and SA.
If you're looking for a full-sized, high capacity, steel pistol, you can't go wrong with this one. The CZ-75 handles well and is a fun, comfortable gun to shoot. And 16 rounds in a mag is a nice touch--I've also got a 26er. The sights are a bit small and unremarkable, but that can be changed. Personally, I feel that this is one of those classic guns that everyone who likes firearms should own--it's just no-frills reliable firepower. Lastly, bits of unburned powder can get stuck in the trigger mechanism, so when cleaning the gun I like to blow that area out with air or with an aerosol cleaner.
