Another successful product order from buds, after a few firearms acquisition from them they've become a standard reference to my firearms purchasing. As far as the product goes this is my first Walther firearm and I can say that I am thoroughly impressed! I've been searching for this handgun and it's bigger brother the p99 for a year and a half to no avail. One day I was perusing through the buds inventory then lo and behold I found the pps was in stock! I quickly summed up some funds and ordered the firearm. When it arrived I was elated, and picked it up right away. I've been interested in this firearm for awhile as a contrast to my glock loyalty. I found that the handgun although sharing some similarities with the glock family is an entirely different breed, and a treat at that. I wanted this firearm as an alternative to my g26 and found that the sacrifice of having 3 less rounds doesn't make me cringe like it did with the lc9. The features I most like about the firearm is witness hole for chamber verification, I found the red dot in the back to inform you that the firearm is ready to fire very handy, although the magazine release takes some getting used to it becomes second nature as soon as you use it enough, the middle sized magazine is my go to carry and the fit of it to the firearm I think is a great mix. The trigger being very similar to glock is a little bit heavier and somewhat grittier, but it is a very pleasant pull and after a hundred rounds and maybe 200 dry fire exercises the trigger has become very smooth and accommodating. The action of the slide is somewhat rough, but in no means inconvenient just a lot heavier and less smooth than that of the g26. The field stripping on this handgun is very much glock like but in a sense smoother in the maneuverings. The slide release for take down is bigger so its easier to actuate the strip down. The sights are very easy to acquire, the only thing I think they should improve on it is the space that you have between the front and rear sights. Aside from all that great firearm, and I am definitely looking forward to acquiring more walther firearms. This firearm has earned its way to become my g26 alternate and I would recommend this to anyones looking for an edc gun.
