Buds again provided a great buying experience. I ordered the pistol on Thursday and picked it up on Monday. The is my second Walther Colt 1911 .22 LR. I already have the 1911 Government model and I am very pleased with it. The Gold Cup is even better. The adjustable sights are far better than the G.I. sights on the Government Model. The fit and finish is first rate and the Gold Cup shows quality workman ship throughout.
I went to the range and put 200 rounds through it using several different types of ammo. I only had one FTF with Federal Bulk ammo. The gun is accurate right out the box. I don't like rubber grips and I changed them out for walnut ones. I would highly recommend this gun based on my experience. I have shot other manufacturer's .22 LR 1911's and have found the Colt to be the best value both in price and performance.
