Can't beat this .45 for the price. I am a big fan of Ruger, and I was seeking a good .45 carry option other than my 1911. The SR45 has a great weight to it -- it isn't heavy but has some 'weight' to it. I fired it at the range after transferring and I was not disappointed. Great accuracy at 25 yards. I will be using this as my regular .45 carry piece. As always, thank you to Buds for the great prices and prompt shipping.

I pick up my Ruger from my ffl, took it home to clean it and the guide rod assembly was broken and I could not reassemble my firearm. After calling Ruger and walking through every option before sending it back, they said that they could send me out a new guide rod. I felt that it was a lemon and they needed to reinspect the firearm...

I love this gun! Shot about 50 rounds right out of the box. No problems at all. Shoots straight, lots of power, I will rely on this one. Also it is beautifully made. Bud's as always did a stellar job.

Beautiful weapon, however the photo of the weapon did not match how it really looks. The weapon has a dull metal finish. Arrived earlier than expected. Great pricing and well made. I have had no problems with this weapons: shooting, slide release or jams that I have seen on YouTube. I recommend this firearm purchase for all shooters and gun collectors.

Overall the gun is beautiful looks great feels great only one flaw the magazine release button you have to press down really hard in order to get the magazine out and slammed the magazine back in in order for it to get into its place.

I bought this about a month ago and finally got to the range today. This is my first .45 that I have owned. I purchased the SR-45 because I gifted My SR-9 to my daughter when she turned 21. This Ruger performed flawlessly with no malfunctions. Ruger makes high quality guns at reasonable prices. I was very pleased with Bud's Guns service and delivery was quick. This is the 3rd time i have bought a gun from them. They are my go-to gun "store" now.

Hi. I just picked up my SR45 from my FFL. It is a mighty fine looking weapon... haven't shot it yet. Buds was real cool on the transaction..giving me a grace period to clear up the transaction with my bank.. since I had layed away the SR 45.. Very pleased with the sr45. Fired two magazines through without one problem. Very accurate and the trigger pull is excellent. Buds completed the transaction and shipped quickly.

This new Ruger 45 caliber was the first pistol that I have purchased from Buds Guns. From the time that I ordered until I picked up the weapon from the FFL dealer the experience was perfect and I received it in just a few days, earlier than expected. Outstanding firearm. I have owned the sr9e for years and it has been one of the best sidearms I have ever owned. I wanted a 1911 for my collection but considered 40 oz. too heavy for my purpose. the sr45 is much lighter. the good: dead on accurate out of the box. no malfuntions whatsoever. Trigger pull light and smooth.This is my third Ruger semi auto pistol and I have noticed they show no sign of wear at all , even with heavy use.I am one happy camper. The bad: nothing,nada,zilch. Buy one . You will love it.Ruger lives up to their much deserved reputation with this one. As good as it gets.

This is my first gun and I'm very happy with my choice it shoots really good and breaks down fast

I picked this up so I had something that had a few extra rounds than my 1911 for when I am in the yard working. I run into a lot of copperhead snakes in my yard and this baby makes short order of them with birdshot rounds. Very light and with normal rounds quite accurate. Love it and enjoy shooting often. Customer service is without a doubt great and orders arrive in no time.

Overall good 45, accurate shooter and easy to control. Had light strike issues on some rounds but luckily ruger stands behind their stuff.

Great gun at a great price! Its hard to beat a ruger for the price to performance ratio. Took it to the range fired 300 rounds without a single failure. This is a great bedside gun and is also a blast to shoot! Fast shipping as always buds is the only way to buy a gun!

500 round and still feel like new! have not had any problems so far!! and good looking! {when i went to pick it up, dealer told me how "dumb" to buy online, and that he could had gotten me same pistol for like $590.!!!, i told him great!! but over all i pay only $420.00!!!! lol}

WHAT AN OUTSTANDING FIREARM FROM RUGER. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A 1911 FAN AND HAVE HAD SEVERAL STRIKER FIRED HANDGUNS FROM GREAT COMPANIES LIKE, S&W M&P, SPRINGFIELD ARMORY, BLOCK'S AND SIG. FOR THE MONEY YOU SIMPLY CAN'T TOUCH THIS SWEET .45. THE ERGONOMICS AND SLIMLINE DESIGN MAKE IT MY GO TO CONCEAL .45. I WAS CONCERNED ABOUT THE RECOIL COMING FROM ALL STEEL 1911'S, BUT FOR SOME DESIGN REASON, THIS PISTOL SIMPLY ABSORBS EVERYTHING I PUT THROUGH IT OVERWHELMINGLY COMFORTABLE. THE FUNCTION HAS BEEN FLAWLESS WITH NO FTF OR FTE AFTER 300+ ROUNDS. FIVE STARS TO BUD'S AND 5 STARS TO RUGER FOR A VERY SEXY AND FUNCTIONAL .45 THAT WON'T BREAK THE BANK.
