I have to apologize. I bought this magazine with the intent of buying a .40 caliber pistol and then changed my mind and bought a .45 instead. It is sitting in my gun case still in the original plastic so I can't say anything negative or positive about it's performance but I can say it has not rusted and it's been in my gun case for 5 years. Buds did their part and got it to me quickly and efficiently.

This is an extended magazine. It adds 3 rds to the capacity. I've heard people say things like, "It only adds 3 rds." Here's how I look at it: It may only be 3 rds, but those 3 extra rds may be the only thing that stands between life and death. I'd rather have it and not need it, rather than need it and not have it. To me, it's worth it.

Well they say 17 rnd's but they are stamped and only hold 14 rnds. Including the mags I purchased thru Beretta. Have enough of them to keep me happy.

Magazines will only fit 15 rounds. Tried keeping them loaded to “compress” the spring as advised. Two weeks later, still only fits 15 rounds. Wondering if this is common or i got 2 duds?

Nice factory item as stated fits well... 16 rounds went in easily enough, but the 17th took a bit of effort.... other than that great item!
