I am frustrated the (New out of the box) Heritage Rough Rider 22/22M 4.75 BL I received the on 22 Nov 11 from my FFL. I inspected the gun and it appeared fine; The hammer cocked back and I figured firing it will determine if I like it. Whenever I got home and started to load it, I noticed the hammer would not cock all the way every time, instead it would seize up intermittently.

Whenever I contacted the Heritage Co. and told the technician the problem, he said "It happens every time". ??? It will have to be repaired.
Is this a manufacturer's defect? Whenever I spoke to the lady for a shipping label she told me they ensure every gun is working perfectly before they are sent to Bud's.
