Purchased two Del-Ton receivers and have assembled one using the Del-Ton rifle kit so it is all Del-Ton. Receiver parts went together fine until I screwed in the screw holding the pistol grip to the lower. It stopped about 3/4 of the way in and would turn no further. I checked the screw and it had a bit of mashing on the tip so I ground it off and smoothed it and tired again with the same result. I then tried the screw in the other receiver and it went in all the way with no resistance. Since I did not want to disassemble the receiver and mail it back I decided to just remove the trigger group and run a tap through the hole. I did that and the screw went in just fine. I called Del-Ton and told them about my problem. They took my information and receiver serial number said they would keep it on file in case any problems arose with the receiver in the future. They also said they would send the information to the folks in the company that make the receiver. I appreciate that concern.
As for assembly, I highly recommend looking on line for hints of doing it the best way. The use of padded vice grips to put in the roll pins worked very well. The only punch use was the final seating of the pin. As I thought about it you could probably put a B-B on the vice grip jaw with some tape and seat the pin all the way without having to hassle with a punch.
Happy with the product. Bob
