I received my order with great speed, I believe in only 3 days. Bud's will definitely get my future online business. This is my first pistol; though I have a GP-100 and can shoot it pretty well, it is too big and heavy for concealed carry. Since I lost some fingers on my dominant hand, I can't hold onto small lightweight nines. I had to go with .380, and this Walther is small but not Too small. I can control it well. The ergonomics fit what's left of my hand well, and I can rack the slide without difficulty. Most FMJ ammo feeds well, and after break in, few FTF/FTE with round nose bullets. Winchester whitebox flat nose are a different story, however. Jams repeatedly-- I would not recommend it. Seems to like PMC bronze and Armscor RN best. I have yet to try any HP or other carry ammo. Field stripping is easy enough, except for the recoil spring-- trying to get it back in is VERY cuss-worthy, especially for someone with half a hand. I had to find a video on how to do it on Youtube, and even then I cussed the paint off the wall. It's pleasant to shoot, minimal muzzle rise, accurate for defensive purposes. No palm slap-- I shot a Glock 42 and it was painful. The safety is hard for me to reach without using both hands. If I end up carrying it, I might leave it in the long, heavy DA mode for the first shot, like a revolver. Then I can leave the safety off. SA trigger is very light and crisp. Oh yeah... NO MAG SAFETY! Overall, a pretty decent gun for the money. Good choice for women , elderly or people with small hands or poor hand strength. Just try a lot of different types of ammo and keep it clean, because sometimes it's finicky.
