I own Remington 870s and an 1187, as well as a Mossberg-Maverick 88, and I'm very happy with them. Shotguns--without a doubt--give you the most gun for the money--and these shotguns from Norinco and NE Firearms (and maybe Savage-Stevens) offer the very best deal in shotguns. I love my 870, but I am not so sure but that my Interstate Arms Defender might be a better gun. It seems to be very well made, with a slick action and stocks that are much better than expected--just a tad stiff to load, but that should improve with time. I actually prefer the matte blueing on this to the paint-like coating on my 870 (external surfaces on the 870 may be more weather-resistant). Several shooters have fired it without a hiccup, and it hits point of aim. Anyone with any gun sense, who doesn't get a lemon (not that I've heard of any), who doesn't have an axe to grind with Chinese imports WILL NOT be disappointed in this firearm at almost half the price. The way I look at it, the more quality firearms we can get China to send us in exchange for so little money the better. Think about it--China's arming America!
