Got this fine gun today and preceded to install a TandemKross LCI insert and a magazine release bushing...just like I did with my MKIII (which went very smoothly). For you guys thinking of buying this Lite pistol....a word of warning.

The gun takedown was easier than any Ruger auto pistol I own. However when I tried to remove the factory LCI indicator, I discovered that Ruger had miss-aligned the aluminum upper with the barrel insert just a tick. The LCI pin would not freely come out. In fact, Ruger had pressed it in...and not all the way in BTW. It stuck out about 2mm and would not budge. Shame you Ruger.

I had to very very carefully Dremel the pin in two without marking up my brand new pistol. I was very nervous about doing this but it went over just fine. I installed the stainless insert and it fits great. The gun looks good, shoots good.

Hopefully you people who want to do this mod to your own gun won't have the same issues as I had. As always, Bud's was excellent.
