Overall pleased with the Walther. Ergonomics are excellent- the interchangeable back straps help quite a bit. Trigger pull is the best for stock DAO out there. It is spot on accurate and fun to shoot. Also - reliable. I've put ~1,000 rounds through it of all types and it ate 'em up (full disclosure-I did have one failure to feed , but that was due to an aftermarket recoil spring I had installed at the time - previous round ejected, second round did not fully go into battery). The only possible "downsides", (though I really wouldn't call them that, rather personal preferences) - are 1) the muzzle flip - still manageable and not really all that bad, but the higher bore axis and weight ratio of the slide to frame makes it rise off target a bit more than I would like, and 2) the plastic sights. They get the job done, but there are better sight options out there - aftermarket is much better now that the gun has been out for a while. In compliance with rules I will not discuss the aftermarket recoil system I placed on the gun, but another aftermarket tweak worth looking into to resolve the muzzle flip. Mags are pricey - ~$40 a pop. The finish on the slide on mine also appeared to have some kind of minor blemish right next to the PPQ markings - nothing major, but giving full disclosure, and the reason I ding it a star. Last but not least, the paddle mag release is the way to go. Walther did that piece right - I contend it to be more natural than the button release. I fully recommend this gun, and will purchase another someday if I ever find a good deal -
