Nice rifle overall - but as expected, very heavy! Had issues first time out on a very hot day shooting steel case ammo - learned my lesson, jammed up real bad! Also, while working out the jam, found out the finish on the receiver scratches easily :( I have since given up steel case ammo in all my AR's and have not had any issues. AR's obviously don't kick much, but with the wood stock, it's like shooting a BB gun! Sharp looking gun and attracts a lot of attention. Beware the AR purist though - they don't take well to wood furniture on an AR - lol. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice AR with wood.
